The myGovID website has support materials and is updated regularly.
If you received an error:
- with your identity documents while setting up, see Verifying your identity

Speak to a customer service representative
- Phone our support line on 1300 287 539 (select option 2, then option 1 for myGovID enquiries).
- If you have difficulty speaking or understanding English, phone us using the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) on 13 14 50.
- For callers who have difficulty hearing or speaking to people on the phone, contact the National Relay Service (NRS) and give them our support number, 1300 287 539 (select option 2 for myGovID enquiries).
- If you are overseas, phone + 61 2 6216 1111 and ask for your call to be transferred to the myGovID support line.

Inappropriate access to your myGovID or personal information
myGovID offers a greater level of security with identity document verification, compared to username and password credentials and SMS verification codes.
If you suspect the security of your myGovID has been compromised you need to report this immediately – for example, someone has inappropriately accessed your personal information in myGovID.
